The Flite X helmet is designed to compliment the Force 10 clothing line from Wulf. It has a ventilation system that includes a simple yet effective sliding mechanism on the top of the helmet. The light shell weighs in at a mere 1150g give or take 50g. It is ACU Gold Label approved and EC ER 22-05 approved which means that it is road and competition legal in the UK. The anti-allergen cell foam lining is removable and washable extending the usability of this helmet. High definition graphics with multi lacquer lustre finish keeps the Flite X looking great after each race or outing. The double D racing spec chinstrap retention system keeps the Flite X helmet safely fastening to the rider's head. One drop or bump can cause damage that, although invisible to the naked eye, could render the equipment a lot less effective and safe and unsuitable for sale. Ensure that you measure your or your childs head properly to make sure the helmet will fit them.
HOW TO MEASURE A HEAD Measuring somebodys head is easy but it is essential that the tapemeasure is in the correct place. Measure the circumferance of the head from just above the eyebrows, Just below where you would normally wear a hat of headband. The measurments should be taken in centimeters. Helmets are one article of clothing that MUST NOT BE BOUGHT TOO BIG a poorly fitting helmet will not be effective, it is better to have a budget helmet that fits well than an expensive one that fits poorly in the terms of safety. If the measurments are between centimeters, go up one, you obviously won't get a helmet smaller than their head measurment on! WHEN YOU GET THE HELMET It's easiest to put the helmet on by holding it purely by the straps and pulling them apart as much as you can then pulling it onto the head. It is meant to be tight! Don't worry about those chipmunk cheeks the padding at the side of the helmet will give up to 10% in the first few hours of useage, this is why its important the helmet must be fitted correctly. Many kids will find the experience claustrophobic, it takes a bit of getting used to. The danger area is the forehead, if a helmet becomes too tight of the forehead this area will not ever give and will cause a headache pressure. | | Available Options: | | Size: | | |
