Technical Details

The metatarsal plate of the new TCX Competizone S-Zero White has been specially designed to give the joints the greatest level of freedom of movement whilst guaranteeing high protection due to its high level of specialization. A rigid shell rotation mechanism with upper and lower stopping points is designed to prevent excessive movement of the metatarsal either up or down.

Upper: Micro fibre with wide rear padded area to increase comfort and flexibility

Lining: Air Tech breathable

Protections: Polyurethane shin plate, malleolous protection, shift pad, heel counter

Sliders: Replaceable polyurethane toe slider and fixed polyurethane calf slider

Closure: Zip and Velcro band

Mid Sole: antibacterial, reinforced with Antishock and Antivibration heel insert

Sole: Low profile, mono compound rubber sole with specific grip area

Technology

The new Metatarsal Control System has a polyurethane structure with a flexion point positioned in the metatarsal area to allow it to adhere more closely to the anatomy of the foot, to to give necessary freedom of movement while riding and to guarantee maximum protectin in the event of a fall. The slider is made of a special aluminium 493 alloy that is highly resistant to wear and is easy to replace.
